Members of the notorious Boko Haram sect on Sunday laid ambush on a Borno highway killing four persons, injuring three others and abducting two, a member of
the youth vigilance group, Abba Yusuf told our correspondent on phone in Maiduguri.
He said the notorious militants ambushed commercial motorists at a remote village, Nwajurko near Sabon Gari in Damboa local government area, south of the troubled state, Borno in Northeast Nigeria today (Sunday) killing four persons, abducting two young men and leaving three persons with sustained gunshot wounds.
Yusuf said: ''Boko Haram in a highway ambush killed four persons, abducted two, and injured three others on the Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu highway."
